We’d love for you to support the #EDinformed campaign and help spread awareness by:
Sharing posts, stories, or videos using the #EDInformed hashtag to educate and engage your audience.
To help you, we are sharing a number of social media post templates with the Campaign logo and colours.
By using the campaign templates and logos, you are committing to adhere to the Campaign Content Guidelines (see below)
Content Guidelines:
All content shared as part of the campaign must adhere to the following principles:
- Accuracy: Use evidence-based information and reliable sources. Avoid spreading unverified claims or pseudoscience.
- Sensitivity: Be mindful of the language and imagery used. Avoid triggering language (references to specific weights, caloric intake, or appearance comparisons), numbers, graphic descriptions of eating disorder behaviours or sharing images that may harm individuals in recovery
- Inclusivity: Represent diverse populations and experiences, including gender, ethnicity, age, and socioeconomic status. Represent the full spectrum of eating disorders and linkages/overlaps with neurodiversity. Avoid perpetuating the stereotype that eating disorders only affect young, thin, white women
- Clarity: Use simple, accessible language to ensure the information is understandable to a wide audience.
- Action-Oriented: Encourage tangible steps, such as enrolling in training programs, engaging in discussions, or sharing resources.
By downloading these templates, you are confirming that you will adhere to these guidelines.
