Eating Disorders and LGBTQ+ clients with Dr Steffanie Grossman, PhD, CEDS-C!
Dr Grossman (she/her) is a Licensed Psychologist in private practice, who specializes in working with eating disorders as well as LGBTQ+ clients. She provides therapy, brainspotting sessions, and assessments for letters in support of gender-affirming medical and legal procedures to clients in Texas and virtually across the majority of the United States. When working with LGBTQ+ clients, it is important to keep in mind many members of this community are at a higher risk of eating disorders.
Learn what impacts eating disorders symptoms among this population, and ways that you can best support clients in finding freedom from eating disorders, developing confidence, and holding hope.
